Whether you have a private wastewater treatment system or are tied into a municipal sewer main, it is always a good idea to have the lateral sewer line scoped. This is the main waste pipe between the home and septic tank or town sewer that cannot be viewed from the interior of the building and can be very expensive to repair/replace.
Basic inspection of septic tank, leach field, and appurtenances. Includes: measuring of solids within tank; ensuring proper liquid levels within tank; identify condition/integrity of baffles and filter (if present); probing and assessing of leach field; testing of floats, pump(s), and alarms (if applicable). Septic access ports must be visible and accessible at ground-level. Site sketch and a pdf report of all findings will be provided.
Additional fee to locate, excavate, and backfill access ports of the septic tank if not readily identified and accessible from ground-level.
Scoping of lateral sewer line between the home and septic tank. A pdf report with photos and findings will be provided.
Scoping of effluent pipe and leach field to identify any issues/defects with piping that could result in septic assembly failure. A pdf report with photos and findings will be provided.
Scoping to identify discharge location of drain piping exiting the home independently of the main waste pipe. A pdf report with photos and findings will be provided.
If you have a property or are purchasing a property that has a private well, supplying water to the house, we suggest that residents have well water testing services completed to determine the quality of the water. Mold is a common, pesky problem that often develops along floors, walls, and across ceilings of homes. The micro-organism is a fungus that poses a real health hazard when left to proliferate in the home or business property. For our mold assessment and air quality testing, we will collect air samples to check for mold spores, then submit our samples to an independent microbial laboratory for a comprehensive analysis, and then provide you with an in-depth mold report outlining the different types
(for additional areas of concern)
(physical sampling of observed mold)
